I had a major error on my Inspiron and it said to Download the Synaptics v. When I try to do that it says "error in trying to download" this and I can get no further. I am quite new with this and don't know where to go from here. The client complained of the cursor jumping around when typing. There is a Touchpad Sensitivity setting, which we set to Low, yet this has not helped the issue. I am unable to find any setting that resembles the "Disable Touchpad While Typing" setting I have used in the past to resolve this issue. Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem? There are other similar apps available which I have not tried which may do the same thing. Do you know if it is the Cypress Touchpad in the laptop? As I understand it, Windows 10 should provide all the drivers for touchpad now and not Dell. I did contact Dell support, but there was a long hold time stated upfront so I elected to search elsewhere first. I've not seen any indication that this is the Cypress touchpad. I'm uncertain if one or both are the touchpad. Both use a Microsoft driver dated sometime in
