Install printer on workgroup

Select Turn on file and printer sharing if not previously selected. Select Save Changes. Share the networked printer. Select the Sharing tab on the Properties dialog box. Click Share this printer if the printer is not already shared. Enter a name in the Share name field to reference the printer in the workgroup. Click OK. Set up the printer to be available on the Galileo Print Manager. Choose Add a printer from the menu.

Select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer. Locate the name of the computer that is sharing the printer, open it, and select the desired printer. Close the dialog box, and then click Next and complete the addition of a shared Workgroup printer. Configuring Galileo Print Manager.

Select the printer you just added to finish the configuration. Set the correct GPM. To do this, you will need to use a network printer that can connect directly to your workgroup network via your router.

Connect the printer to your workgroup network router using an Ethernet or USB cable. Alternatively, if it is a wireless or Bluetooth printer, follow the prompts on the printer's screen to enter the wireless or Bluetooth password and allow it to connect to the router. Click on the "Start" button on a computer that is connected to the workgroup network to open its Start menu.

Click on the "Devices and Printers" option in the Start menu. Click on the "Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer" in the window that opens. Select the printer you want to add from the list of connected printers below. Click the "Next" button in the bottom right of the window. Click "Next" to search for network printers and select the domain printer when it appears in the list of results.

Choose "Next" and follow the remaining onscreen prompts to complete the printer connection.
